In this Wiki

The IaaS Wiki, supported by StratoScale, is a compilation of thousands of online resources on public and private cloud - technologies, best practices and knowledge on how to set up and manage a cloud computing infrastructure. Due to the complexity of the cloud space and the many options available, both technological and architectural, we set out to create a vendor agnostic resource, that would pull together the most relevant information from around the world that might help organizations build their cloud infrastructure.

What is IaaS?

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is an instant computing infrastructure that provides virtualized computing resources over the Internet. IaaS provides highly scalable resources that can be adjusted on-demand. Additionally, IaaS environments include dynamic scaling, automation of administrative tasks, policy-based services and desktop virtualization.
